2018 is going to be a big year for buttons. All of you up and down the Shore who’ve expressed an interest in learning how to do your own are invited to join us in January and February for an “online” button design class which will culminate in a hands-on workshop on February 3rd to turn your designs into buttons.
The first part will involve learning to design your buttons. It will all be done by email on your own computers (occasional phone calls encouraged), so there will be no winter travel, and no cost to you. I use Word for everything, but there are button design software programs available. You will have all of January to get comfortable with the process and save a portfolio of your best efforts. At noon on February 3rd you will come to the Democratic Headquarters in Chestertown with your designs, prepared to cut them out and turn them into real buttons!
