The deadline to complete the 2020 Census is September 30, 2020. As the deadline quickly approaches, we need your help to continue to “GET KENT COUNTED”. Currently Maryland is number 10 in the nation for census response rate. Kent County as a whole has reached its 2010 response rate, however we still have municipalities that have not reached their 2010 Census Rate, those areas are Chestertown, Millington and Betterton. If you know someone without internet access, we can bring an iPad to them. Call the LMB office: 410-810-2673.
Note, while is it possible that the 2020 Census deadline may have just been moved back to the end of October, the Social Action Committee for Racial Justice is highlighting the importance of the census by promoting a “Complete the Census” event from 5-7pm on 9/30, at the High Street mural.
