The Democratic Club of Kent County conducts a variety of activities and programs in the community. In the spring we’ll set up our booth at HQ, as well as at community events around the county — including Galena’s Dogwood Days, Rock Hall’s Fourth of July, Betterton Day, Legacy Day, and many more. We also conduct monthly club meetings open to the public, including:
Moms Demand Action (https://momsdemandaction.org/) — On Thursday, March 16, we’ll hear from this great advocacy group about their actions locally and with the Md. General Assembly. Their full title is “Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense in America,” and we’ll hear from members about what they’re doing and how you can help. Meeting details to follow, but plan on coming to The Kitchen (208 High St., Chestertown) at 5:30 for a meal, and/or at 7 pm for the program.
Rebuilding Together Kent County (https://www.rebuildingtogetherkcmd.org/) — On April 20 we’ll hear from this great local group working to repair and rehabilitate homes of those in need in Kent County. Save the date!
