Memorial Day Parade

Come march (or ride) with us in the Memorial Day Parade in Chestertown.

  • Parade starts at 10am

The parade is part of a Remembrance and Honor Ceremony. It is important that Democrats in Kent Co have a presence at this event.

In keeping with the solemn tenor of the day, we will carry an American flag, a banner identifying us as Democrats, and signs supporting veterans. We will hand out mini American flags to parade watchers. We have invited local candidates to join us, but this is not an opportunity to campaign.

We’d love to have a big turnout. Please wear red, white, and blue. Especially blue. We will have cars for those who cannot march.
