Angela Alsobrooks in Chestertown, July 18!
Angela Alsobrooks, our Democratic candidate for U.S. Senator, will be doing a Meet-and-Greet and Walk-Around Tour of Chestertown on Thursday, July 18, from 9:30 am to noon.
Ms. Alsobrooks will start her visit at the Chestertown Marina in the parking lot adjacent to the Cerino Center at 9:30 am, and move along Cannon and Cross Sts., talking with Kent County residents and visiting shops along the way.
At 11 am she will arrive at Phat Daddy’s and the Big Mixx Barbershop and Salon to spend time sampling BBQ and continue spending time with everyone.

Dems Club Meeting, July 18 — Maggie McIntosh on Hogan’s Disappointing Record
The public is invited to the July 18 meeting of the Democratic Club of Kent County for a timely and informative presentation by former Maryland Delegate Maggie McIntosh. Del. McIntosh will offer insights into the disappointing record of Larry Hogan’s tenure as governor, offering examples of his actions while in office that make him a poor choice for any further office.
The meeting will take place at The Kitchen at The Imperial, 208 High St, Chestertown, on Thursday, July 18. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for a social time and to order a meal from the menu. (It is not necessary to purchase a meal to attend.)
A brief business meeting will be conducted before the main presentation, with Mayor David Foster offering an overview of the “tax differential” issue which adversely affects the revenues of the five towns in the county.
