The Club is happy to announce the opening of our Saturday morning Booth on Saturday, April 17th, from 9 am until noon. The outdoor Booth is located at the Kent County Democratic HQ office, 357 High St., Chestertown. It will be open (weather permitting) every Saturday from mid April until early November.
The Booth was the hub of the Kent County Democratic Campaign on Saturday mornings last year. Members and volunteers provided information, signs and political buttons to a motivated and energetic community. This year as we celebrate the great work President Biden and Vice President Harris are doing, the group will continue to listen, answer questions, and inform and energize all those who stop by the booth.
There are two shifts each Saturday: 9 am to 1030 am and 10:30 am until noon. You may volunteer to work a full shift or a partial one – we are just glad you are able to help out when you can. Another booth volunteer will work with you to get you started. We do ask that continued COVID-prevention protocols are observed, and you wear your mask and honor social distancing while working with us.
