Join us this coming Saturday, April 23, from 9 am to noon for the 2022 opening of our Democratic Booth outside of the HQ office, 357 High St. in Chestertown. Volunteers are needed to help us cover all shifts, every Saturday between now and Election day 2022! The Booth is the hub for the Kent County Democrats sharing voter information and conversation with visitors and members of the community. This year’s focus will be getting information out to the public about the local, state, and national Democratic candidates running in this important midterm election. Volunteers will provide information, signs, and political buttons to our always motivated and energetic community.
You are most welcome to join us as a booth volunteer. There are two shifts each Saturday: 9 am to 1030 am, and 10:30 am until noon. You may volunteer to work a full shift or a partial one – we are just glad you are able to help out when you can. Another booth volunteer will work with you to get you started. The club is also considering setting up a second booth on Saturday, May 14, for Galena’s Dogwood Days Festival. We’ll need folks willing to help set up and cover some of the times between 9 am and 3 pm.
