We had around twenty Club volunteers provide an amazing array of food for the breakfast and break nosh at Wednesday morning’s National Music Festival Rehearsal.
Thank you so much to all who participated. We had egg dishes and casseroles, hard boiled eggs, fruit of all kind, wonderful cinnamon rolls, breads, muffins and cookies, pita and homemade oat chips and bean dip and the list goes on and on.
The musicians loved it, many deeming it the best snack morning of the festival!!! Not only was the food wonderful, but the conversation and discussion and questions the musicians shared with us made for a special morning. Eleanor, our donkey mascot, was loved by all. Jim Bogden provided special “Chestertown Loves Musicians” buttons for handouts along with others. I found the We Support all Families” created by Jim was popular.
I was so happy to see some many Dems sit in on the rehearsal itself. They are so special.
The NMF Hospitality Committee truly appreciates all we did as part of their “Take a Break”. program this year. It truly shows that Democrats support the arts!
