How Can You Help? Attend the Club Meeting, June 20
Join us at Phat Daddy’s (205 Spring Ave., Chestertown) starting at 5:30 pm for a meal and some social time, with the main program starting at 7 pm. Hear from leaders in the Central Committee and the Club about ways that you can get involved and work for a Democratic Victory in November! Take home a list! We’ll be covering:
- Mobile Dems booths for outreach to voters in Rock Hall, Betterton, Galena, and Millington. We’ll need help publicizing these events, as well as a lot of help covering these booths!
- Our “Take Action” project, sending postcards to every registered Democrat in Kent County. Lots of help needed for this one!
- Ongoing club projects as described in our newsletter, including the Saturday booth at HQ, the Rock Hall July 4 Parade and Festival, Legacy Day, and more.
- Future opportunities for door-knocking, phone/text banking, and poll-watching.
Spread Democracy and Have Fun on July 4
Ever want to strut down the middle of the street holding a sign — and get cheered?
Come march with the Democratic Club in the July 4 parade in Rock Hall!
Democrats in the county are always happy to see us, and they clap and cheer to show their appreciation for our work.
The July 4 parade is a big one, and a great opportunity for us to remind Kent County that there are Democrats here who are actively working to promote democracy and to turn the county blue!
Come join the fun! Wear something blue or red/white/blue and walking shoes. Bring your kids and grandkids — everyone loves a parade!
Muster at 9 am at the ball fields on N. Main St. We’ll provide the signs.
After the parade, we’ll have an information booth at the festival at the civic center. We need people to help staff the booth from 11-1 and 1-3.
We’ll have fans, gun locks, and campaign literature to give away. We’ll have postcards to write. We’ll talk to people who have questions about the election. A lot of folks will pass by our booth, and it will remind them that we’re here and we’re not going away!
