First Friday Invites All Democratic Volunteers
The Democratic Club is Honoring our Volunteers with a Kick-off Party for the Information Booth this coming First Friday, April 5 from 5 to 7 pm. Please join us at the Kent County Democratic HQ – 357 High Street – to hear about everything we’re planning, from a “Take Action Table” to a “County Outreach Booth” to get voting and candidate information to County residents. Lots of fun things are in the works, so please come and see what you can do in this important election year.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, soft drinks, and water will be available. Stay the whole time or just spend a few minutes – we would love to say hi!

The Information Booth opens on Saturday, April 13 from 9 am to noon at 357 High Street.
Dems Make Buttons!!
Club members gathered at Dems HQ last Saturday morning to make buttons! They were overjoyed to use the new button-making machine generously donated to the club by Linda Dutton. It cuts production time in half!

Please Join Us at the Upper Shore Summit, April 27
We’re excited to invite you to our “How We Win” training for the Upper Shore on April 27, from 8 am to 1 pm. This is a foundational event structured to help shape our strategies and success in the coming year.
Hosted at Washington College in Chestertown, this comprehensive training session will cover essential topics like Volunteer Recruitment, Rural Messaging, Candidate Recruitment, Digital Communications, and more. It’s an incredible opportunity for us to learn, adapt, and align our efforts to ensure we’re moving forward together, stronger and more prepared than ever.
We are happy to have Galena Mayor John Carroll and Kent County Clerk of the Court, Sherise Kennard start the morning session with a Panel Discussion on Winning and Governing on the Upper Shore. The Discussion and Q&A will be moderated by Joseph Bonacci and Emily Iampieri, President and Vice President of the Democratic Club of Washington College. Leading the Training Sessions on Rural Messaging will be Chestertown Councilman Tom Herz and his former campaign manager, Kurt Douglass.
Registration is $20 which includes options for four training sessions, panel discussion and closing speaker, breakfast, beverages, coffee, and mid-morning snacks.
