Campaign season begins! The Chestertown Town Council election for Wards 2 and 4 is Nov 5. The Democrats have two strong candidates running: Tom Herz for Ward 2; Meghan Efland for Ward 4. Want to improve representation in the town council? Join the effort by campaigning and door knocking for Tom and Meghan. We’ll meet Wednesday, September 18 at 5:00 at the Democratic headquarters, 357 High Street, to spread the word in these two wards.
Want to help more? Did you know that Kent County is the one county in the state that has not yet participated in the state Democratic canvassing effort? Only we can change this!! Make Kent County count! (Because how can the Democratic party address our issues if we don’t let them know what they are?) Meet on Monday, September 16 at 5:00 at the Democratic headquarters to make the change. We’ll be doing both door knocking and phone banking.
