The Democratic Club of Kent County was proud to make a gift of six ecologically-oriented books to the Kent County Public Library, in honor of the legacy of former Chestertown Mayor Margo Bailey. The books, written for readers at a variety of ages, were selected by the library to expand their collection on the subject; each contained a lovely bookplate designed by our own Robbi Behr. The books were formally presented to Library Director Arnessa Dowell in a small ceremony last Friday, 8/27/21, attended by Owen Bailey, Margo’s son and a life-long Chestertown resident.
