I am writing to invite your groups to participate in the 2022 Douglass Tubman Celebration (https://www.talbotdems.org/douglass-tubman) – an old-time political fair featuring our local, state, and federal Democratic candidates along with Talbot and the Mid-Shore’s leading community organizations.
The event will be a community fair on Sunday, May 22 from 3pm – 6pm. at Moton Park in Easton, Maryland. Congressman Jamie Raskin of Maryland’s Eighth Congressional District will be the keynote speaker.
In the interest of putting as many local citizens and organizations in front of their current and future elected officials as possible, I am extremely proud to announce that there is no charge to participate! From the local County Council and Board of Education campaigns to our candidates for Governor and Congress, this is a fantastic opportunity to provide your club’s membership with an opportunity to connect directly with our future elected officials!
