Of course she needs money, and there are plenty of opportunities to go door-to-door to talk with voters, but you can also sign up to do phone banking and text banking on her behalf — which you can do without even leaving your living room!
On Wednesday evenings, Heather’s campaign does a Weekly Friends and Family Text/Phone Bank. After a brief (but inclusive) training, volunteers contact their own friends and family in District 1 to talk about Heather, and urge them to vote for her. It’s so simple! And you’re talking to people you know, so there’s no awkwardness or anxiety involved.
There’s also an opportunity to join a phone bank for Heather. After you’re trained, you’ll use a predictive dialer (and use your own computer) to talk to voters about what a great Congress member Heather will be! Again, you do this from home. And once you’ve made one call, the rest are easy! Take it from an introvert!
