A wonderful non-profit organization on the Eastern Shore recently celebrated its first full year in existence — Minary’s Dream Alliance. With a substantial presence in Kent County, MDA runs a large “Feed the Elderly” program out of the former American Legion Building on Morgnec Creek, just east of Chestertown, and is gearing up to offer a wide range of youth mentoring, tutoring and other support services as well.
