January 20, 2020 is Martin Luther King Day, and there are several important events that day.
Come to the MLK Breakfast, 7:00 am at the Rock Hall Fire Hall. Sponsored by the Chester Valley Ministers’ Association, this wonderful gathering will feature Dr. Patrick Nugent of the Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience, along with the Kent County HS Jazz Band, other speakers, and awards. Tickets ($15) available at the door or at the upcoming Dems Club meeting on 1/16.
Later that day, come and hear about “Groundwater” – a presentation of the Racial Equity Institute on how our institutions and systems are producing unjust outcomes.
