Summer of Resistance and Renewal
In preparation for the 2018 election, the Maryland Democratic Party is mounting an unprecedented, statewide, grassroots listening campaign. The Summer of Resistance and Renewal is a call-to-action that will give Maryland Democrats a chance to listen and connect with voters in a more meaningful way earlier than ever in the cycle. It will feature:
- A launch event on Saturday, June 3 at 2 pm in Annapolis that will double as a community service-oriented food drive;
- Partnerships with Democratic clubs and progressive groups across the state to train voter outreach and conduct on-the-ground canvassing;
- Organizing community service events in every county; and
- Targeted online ads and surveys to amplify canvassing efforts on the ground.
