Senate Republicans are gearing up to pass the “Graham-Cassidy” bill. This is just another disastrous version of Trumpcare, and will strip health care from millions of Americans. What’s even scarier is that Republicans are dangerously close to passing this bill. So far, here are just a few of the things we know about the bill:
- It will cut Medicaid for seniors, people with disabilities, and kids — and it will end Medicaid expansion coverage for millions of low-income Americans.
- It will get rid of coverage for pre-existing conditions.
- It will slash funding for Planned Parenthood.
- It will raise individual market premiums.
- It will eliminate ACA health funding by 2027.
- It will take health care away from millions.

Congress is set to vote on a budget and tax plan soon. And if Trump and Speaker Paul Ryan get their way, TRILLIONS of dollars will be cut from programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, SNAP, and more, only to be given hand over fist to corporations and the ultra wealthy. But we can still fight this. Just like with the healthcare debate, a massive mobilization of activists just like you calling Congress can stop Trump’s budget and tax plan in their track.
