The KCDCC Annual Kennedy King Dinner: Celebrating Democratic Values and Defending Democracy.
Join the Central Committee for our annual Kennedy King Dinner fundraiser on Wednesday, May 12. We may be meeting virtually, but expect an enthralling evening. Our featured speaker is Congressman Jamie Raskin, who will address our theme, Defending Democracy (and who better to talk about this!). Bob and Pam Ortiz will provide music. Yvette Lewis, chair of the Maryland Democratic Party, will open our event. Plus, dinner ( to be picked up) will be provided by Occasions Catering. Tickets for all of this are $75/single; $140/couple.
Why support the Central Committee? Our job is to get Democrats elected. We have a number of important elections in 2022: Maryland House District 1 (Andy Harris’s seat); our three Delegates and our Senator in Annapolis – all Republicans; and, our KC County Commissioners – currently held by two Republicans and one Democrat.
