The Kent County Community Food Pantry – https://kentfoodpantry.org/ — A well-organized and well-run operation — recently DCKC donated 109 pounds of food items and $190 in member contributions to this great organization.
Minary’s Dream Alliance – https://minarysdreamalliance.org/ — Their sustained and generous Feed the Elderly Program of Kent County provides weekly food delivery of fresh produce, protein, and shelf staples to homebound seniors.
The Good Neighbor Fund – https://chestervalleyministers.org/good-neighbor-fund — The Chester Valley Ministers Association has operated this wonderful program for many years. Working with the local Dept. of Social Services to establish need, the fund can help residents with utility bills, medical bills, emergency housing, eviction avoidance, and much more.
