Kent County Public Library
The Kent County Public Library is looking for a community member to fill a seat on their Board of Trustees.
Applicants must be Kent County residents and should be passionate about supporting the creation and sustainability of library services that meet the needs of the entire community. Members of the Board should represent the diversity of Kent County, demographically and geographically. For more information, see the website.
Public and school libraries are under assault in many places in our country. Extreme right-wing organizations have forced libraries to ban books and librarians to be fired. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen in Kent County.

HomePorts is a 501(c)3 charitable organization serving the needs of greater Kent County residents 55 and over. Their mission is to identify, monitor, and ensure access to a wide range of services that help members to remain safe and live comfortably in their own homes. HomePorts provides an essential link to the community through the help of skilled and dedicated volunteers — a critically important resource to their members, providing transportation assistance, home visits, errands, and more.
