Serve as an Election Judge!
From the Md. State Board of Elections (there is some reimbursement for election judges, but we consider this a most worthy service to our democracy, and we’re including it here):

We are gearing up for the 2024 Presidential Election and want you to be an election judge!
If you served during the 2022 election cycle, thank you for your service, and we hope that you will serve in 2024! If you do, you will receive an extra $100 each day you work.
If you didn’t serve last time, thank you for your interest! We hope you will consider serving this time. We always need dedicated people to serve as election judges.
Please sign up now to become an election judge in 2024. The primary election is May 14, 2024, and the general election is November 5, 2024. You can also contact your local board of elections if you want to serve.
