The Maryland Primary Election is Tuesday, July 19; polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm. If you are voting in person that day, you will need to vote in your assigned precinct — that information can be found at the MD Board of Elections website: https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/VoterSearch. And you should be aware that due to the high numbers of mail-in ballots, the results of this election may be substantially delayed.
While this election is a party primary for registered Democrats and Republicans, it is also a non-partisan election for School Board candidates, so all registered voters can vote in that race, including those not affiliated with a political party. Spread the word — make sure your friends and neighbors vote!
Note that the club will be inviting our local Democratic candidates to speak at our August 18 club meeting — save that date!! There will be no July meeting of the club.
