Write to Dr. Couch, by 6/21

This is your last chance for input on school budget!  You may have noticed that there is a lot of controversy surrounding this year’s school budget. The County Commissioners and the Board of Education were not able to agree on the appropriate level of county funding for our schools for the coming school year.  At this time there appears to be one last opportunity to have some input into what that budget will look like.  The Board will probably be voting on this matter on the evening of June 21.  Since that is also the evening of our big meet-the-candidates event (see above), we are encouraging everyone who has an opinion on the matter to write to Dr. Couch, KCPS Superintendent, before this Thursday’s special School Board meeting.  Write to her at kcouch@kent.k12.md.us.
